Penny Saver Bulletin

In this day and age saving a penny is still important. It may not sound like much to save one penny, but it still does add up…just like in the days of old.

Have you ever heard of the penny a day adage in which you are advised to double your penny savings each day? On the first day, you save one penny, the second day, it’s two, third day it’s four and so on? Making it one clever method to create wealth.

You may wonder how doubling your penny savings each day can create wealth or maybe how will you be able to continue to double your penny once the amount gets quite high on daily basis, because within two weeks, as a penny saver, you would have $163.83 saved.

It sure looks nice on paper, right? Even though now-a-days when pennies seem hard to come by to pay the bills, never mind create a savings – the double a penny a day savings trick can still be done.

Be a penny saver by reviewing the weekly ads that your neighborhood grocers send out – by comparing the different ads, you may find some great deals to save on your groceries. Hold a yard sale or sell your items that are still good but not used anymore on eBay. Walk, ride a bike or take a bus to handle your errands – save on fuel while getting exercise.

The best tip to be a penny saver, that may be a surprise but works like a charm none-the-less is to shop on eBay. It’s a worldwide marketplace that now has wholesalers selling direct to the public, therefore there are huge discounts and great savings to be had that keep your pennies adding up.

I try to save every penny i can, even picking up any i see on the ground, i throw them all into the change jar and when its full i deposit it into the bank. I bet I end up with $500 extra a year just picking up other peoples change they throw on the ground.
